Creating the perfect work from home environment is essential to your success. You want to make sure to have ample space in a room with very little noise. You want to make sure you keep your brain attention on “work” and not “home”. Dual monitor computer setups on long L shaped desks give a call center feel.
When I started my work from home call center I searched for desks that, looked like it can at least hold two computer monitors and a CPU. I didn’t realize until after I received my 39” writing computer desk, that it also was the shape of the desk that helps keep you focused. When you are accustomed to a computer desk at home, sitting in front of your computer to work is not really that interesting and may cause easy distraction. The L shaped black desk may help give your brain the visual of an office. And keep your attention on work and not be distracted by home life, such as easy accessibility to food, or television, and your cell phone.
The L shaped work desks also provide ample space for not only two monitors and a CPU but also a printer and writing space. Some clients you will need a phone line, the L shaped desk also provides ample amount of space for a call center dialer and headset. This atmosphere sets you up with less clutter and more room to move around which also helps with less stress and anxiety.
